                             2009

                                                                    WOW !!

I can hardly believe another year has passed and so many changes have happened!
We have a new Great Granddaughter born last year-
Kaylee Mae Lincoln (Named after her grandma and  ME !!  Yes, Rojana
Mae (my youngest daughter) and Mae Elizabeth (that's my real name)

Our music ministry is picking up tremendously.  We were invited to First Baptist Church of Middletown, Ca  this month to sing
during the morning worship service.  This was the first time for us to go there but pray it will not be the last.  A great bunch of
people worship there so if you are in the Middletown area, we highly recommend you visit.

We continue to be busy entertaining at many Senior Assisted care homes all over the Bay Area with our Gospel and Country
Western shows.

I began selling Avon products July of last year and now realize God has opened yet another ministry field for me.  So many
people out there who need prayer, a hug and someone to talk to.  Living in a senior community like we do, there are several
shut-ins who love seeing the Avon Lady walking up the driveway.  I am enjoying this immensely and now am building my
"down-line"-that means I am in Leadership and expected to continue to allow others to enjoy the opportunity to be in business
for themselves for a small $10.00 investment.  Check out my web site when you have time-

Please click on the archived articles on the left side of your screen.  There are writings by Guest Authors in addition to my
own.  If you have a subject that is dear to your heart that you feel others would enjoy, please send them to me by email.

I would love to hear from you to know someone is reading this ezine/newsletter.

Spinning like a carousel

When I feel my life is spinning like a Circus carousel
When every task I commit to seems about to fail
I find a quiet place and pray for help from above
I know my problems will be solved, I feel my
Saviors love

I feel His arms around me providing me with peace
I feel my problems slip away, all worry seems to cease
My circus carousel no longer spins around
Jesus is my refuge, My focus has been found

A note to writers or those who would like to try their hand at
writing for God.

I have discovered an excellent website,
www.Faithwriters.com,
that helps us hone our skills.  Every week they have The Writers
Challenge.  They give us a subject, usually just one word, and
we are to write something about that subject.  It can be a story,
article, poem or what ever comes to your mind.  I am really
enjoying it.
......a magazine for God's Gals!!

My current manuscript is on hold
That is right!  I am still a few stories short of having
enough to finish "The Lord Still Speaks ....to
Lovers"  I need your Christian love story to
complete it!
Have you heard of Jabez?

I love the story in the Old Testament where Jebez prays to God to please increase
his territory.  I first read it about ten years ago while attending a women's study
group in Suisun, CA. where we previously lived.  Now some folks might feel he was
praying for material territory but the way it was used in our group was believing if
we prayed for God to increase our territory that he would increase our Ministry
field and allow us to lead more non-Christians to Him.

We agreed to paste a copy of the "Jabez Prayer" scriptures on our medicine
cabinet or bathroom mirror where we would see it each morning and remember to
read the scriptures as a prayer.  We were instructed to pray very seriously,
expecting miracles to happen.

It was amazing, the following week when we returned to our study group, the
experiences we had to share.  We were to allow God to guide us throughout the
week to reach out to those He placed in our paths and we all had something to
share.  We opened our eyes to what God wanted us to see and were able to help
people in many ways.

My experience was walking into a dining room at a hotel where I had been sent by
my supervisor to help out on an out
-of-town work location.  As I walked into the
little room a young man was arguing with the maid on duty.  He began to speak
quite loudly and was frightening the maid.  I felt I was to intervene so I stepped
into the room, began speaking to the man.  He started telling me his problem and
made mention of God so I was able to talk to him as though he were a Christian.  I
reached out my hand and laid it on his shoulder, immediately feeling something
like an electric shock running from the top of my shoulder to my hand that was on
him.  He quickly began to calm down and all hostility was gone.  He later thanked
me for taking the time to talk to him and said he had taken care of his problem.
He was no longer angry with the situation that had developed.  I feel God placed
me there that day to allow God's peace to flow through me to show this man
kindness and understanding.

I suggest you try this for one week and see what happens.  Just read the following
verses each morning and ask God to enlarge your area of ministry so you may
follow His desire for you to reach out to His children.  I would love to hear from you
afterward.

1 Chronicles 4 (King James Version)
9And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his
name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

10And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me
indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that
thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him
that which he requested.
