Apostle/missionary in the past decade. His purpose for writing this book is to
explain that it isn't an office, but a calling and a gifting from God. Down
through history God has always called out people to go to the unreached
people groups of the world. He is still doing that today. Today, many
missiological books deal with the theory and methodology. That is good, but
we also need to deal with the character of the person God wands to use as a
church planter. This book shares some characteristics that are needed to be
a good Church Starter.
It deals more with the character and /or heart issues of the planter. It also
deals with the challenge of reaching the world today!

first Baptist church in that area during the late 70's and early 80's. There are now
nine churches that have grown from the original one. He is still very involved with St
Vincent Church and returns periodically to help with various needs.
He is a church Planter Strategist, traveling to many towns and cities to plant new
churches. He is also involved with the "Set Free Ministries". He has been "sent out"
by God to open doors for the lost who are addicted to alcohol or drugs, those who
are at the end of their ropes and ready to grab hold of the teachings of the Holy
Bible and begin a new life in The Lord. "Set Free" consists of Churches and
Discipleship Ranches. This is a wonderful program!
